Janie Jessen has managed Meow, Bark & Board since 2014 and brings more than a decade of hands-on professional pet-care experience to every visit.
At home, Janie has a lively crew of her own: four dogs, three cats and 29 chickens. Meow, Bark & Stroll was created as a way to spend a little extra time outdoors, get in those steps, and provide dependable, one-on-one care for a select group of local clients.

Simple Policies
Clear expectations make pet care easier for everyone.
Cancellation
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full scheduled service price.
Weather & Safety
Your pet's safety comes first. During extreme heat, thunderstorms, heavy rain or other unsafe conditions, outdoor walks may be shortened and the remaining visit used for an indoor potty break, playtime, enrichment and companionship. Visits may be delayed or rescheduled when roads or conditions are unsafe.
Weekend Visits
Occasional Saturday and Sunday visits include a $5 weekend surcharge per visit. The weekend surcharge is waived for clients with an established recurring weekly weekend schedule.
Holiday Visits
A $10 holiday surcharge per visit applies on New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Same-Day Requests
Same-day visits are subject to availability and may include a $10 convenience fee.
